As a young boy, football was everything to me. Like thousands of young players across the world, I dreamed of becoming a professional footballer. Every free moment was spent training, watching football, studying the game and believing that one day I would earn my opportunity.

But I quickly realised something that many talented young players discover far too late.

Talent alone doesn't always open doors.

I chased every opportunity I could find. I paid for football trials with my own money. I contacted clubs and coaches directly. At just sixteen years old, I travelled to different countries in pursuit of opportunities, often without guidance, connections or support.

Throughout my journey I trained and played alongside players already signed to professional clubs. Many times I believed I could compete at the same level, and in some cases I genuinely felt I was outperforming those around me.

The difference wasn't always ability.

The difference was opportunity.

Some players had experienced coaches guiding them. Others had trusted agents opening doors. Some had strong football networks or family connections within the game.

I had none of those.

Every step I took was built on determination, resilience and belief.

Looking back, I realised there was one thing I needed more than another trial.

I needed someone who genuinely cared.

Someone who would be honest.

Someone who understood the football industry.

Someone with real connections.

Someone willing to challenge me, guide me and help me navigate a pathway that often feels impossible to understand alone.

That person didn't exist for me.

So I decided to become that person for the next generation.
